Thesis Title: Proper Phenomenology: The Phenomenology of Religion in the context of the Phenomenological Movement and the formation of a new Phenomenological Method derived therein
About
My main research interest is in the phenomenology of religion. My thesis focuses on understanding the phenomenology of religion in relation to the wider philosohical Phenomenological Movement. I argue that the phenomenology of religion is a neglected aspect of the Movement and needs to be placed in its proper context. In doing this I intend to redevelop the phenomenological method (more generally) by using the lessons learned from the phenomenology of religion.
